Becki Dickinson :: The Photographer Blog bio picture

Welcome to my Blog!

It’s more than a day, more than a series of moments.
It’s the first steps down a new path.
Surrounded by those who have seen you to this point,
shared your joys and sorrows,
and now wish for you a fulfillment of your dreams.

At Becki Dickinson Fine Art Photography we know a wedding is much more than an event.  It’s a day when you, and those who care about you, come together to celebrate the love you have found and the wonderful journey ahead.  It’s the excitement, the tears, and the affectionate glances that touch your heart and make you smile.

We’ll capture those moments as they unfold and create for you images that will recall the beauty of your day, when you took those first steps…and the world cheered you on.

Hearts for Haiti: Be A Part of the Heart

Greensboro Wedding Photographer

As many as 200,000 people died in the recent earthquake to hit Haiti.  And as an individual we often times wonder if we can make a difference.  But by coming together we become greater than the sum of our parts.

We are asking for contributions to benefit the American Red Cross Haiti relief effort.  If everybody in the Greater Greensboro Area were to donate even $.50, we could raise a significant sum.

To represent our efforts, everybody contributing to this cause is to send in a photo of themselves or their family.  Each individual helping with this cause will have their photograph inserted into the Heart for Haiti collaborative piece of art to be presented to the American Red Cross on March 4th.  With each amount raised, our individual photo becomes a smaller part of the puzzle, but at the same time we become stronger.

Donations can be made HERE

100% of the proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross Haiti relief effort.

Becki Dickinson Photography along with the following amazing businesses: Studio B, Michelle Kidd, Judy Auger Photography, Life Stage Films and others, are all working hard to bring this about.  More details will follow concerning our celebration March 4th, at Studio B the Broach in downtown Greensboro.  To receive further information as it becomes available EMAIL us to be put on our list.

February 21, 2010 - 2:18 pm Brian Mullins - Hey Becki! Just wanted to say, from one wedding photographer to another, thank you for donating your time and talent for this project! I hope you have gotten an overwhelming response from it!

Kim and Jeff: January 9, 2010 Morrisville Wedding

AT LAST:  Etta James sums it up with these lyrics “At last my love has come along My lonely days are over And life is like a song”. After seven years, Kim and Jeff finally tied the knot on January 9th, 2010.  All their family and friends where there to celebrate the day with them.  Judy and I were thrilled to be a part of their day and wish them all the best of luck in the years to come.  Here are a few of my favorites:

The expression on Kim’s face as she looks into Jeff’s eyes says it all:
