Elise and I had the honor of photographing the union of Julie and Todd yesterday. The ceremony was held at Christ United Methodist Church followed by a reception at Grandover. Luckily most of the proceedings were unaffected by the scattered thunderstorms. Here are a few of our favorite shots captured throughout the day.

Here are a couple of composites I did with images before Olivia’s First Communion. We did a number of posed shots but these are some more candid captures. I’m always drawn to more natural images than the “perfect” ones.

Lori and Brian were married Friday April 25th during a beautiful ceremony at Childress Vineyards. Surrounded by family and friends, they shared their love for each other. Best of luck to you two. Here are a few of my favorite images for that evening.

25 Days Left

25 days left on my trial version of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and I’m enjoying the experience. I love the presets and there are lots of free ones out there in addition to Adobe’s default presets. One click and your set.
My motivation for testing lightroom is due to my utter dissatifaction with IVIEW media pro. After hours and hours of building a catalog it all went down the drain when IVIEW quit responding and had to be shut down. Upon reopening, my catalog was totally corrupted and unusable. This has happened more than once and on different computers over about a year’s span.

I’ll post more of my impressions of Lightroom as I delve further into it’s potential. Until then, here is an example of what a “one click” preset might achieve.
