Greensboro NC Wedding – Marcella and Tom

Judy Auger and I had a wonderful time this past Saturday photographing the wedding of Marcella and Tom. Lucky for us the ceremony was at the new St. Pius Catholic Church on Elm Street. After months of construction, everything was completed in time, and according to monsignore, Marcella’s mom had a hand it making sure everything stayed on schedule. The church is beautiful.
Following the ceremony, Marcella, Tom, family and friends held their reception at the Proximity Hotel.
We wish you guys the best of luck with your new life together.

Engagement Session – Cliff ♡s Meredith

Cliff and Meredith met me yesterday for there engagement session photos. I first met Cliff and Meredith a few months ago when they came over to my place to discuss their June 19th wedding. I think we ended up chatting for almost 2 hours and I was thrilled when they later called asking me to photograph their celebration. Since “friending” Meredith on Facebook, I have been constantly amazed at her crazy busy schedule. I admire her being able to keep so many balls up in the air all while trying to plan a big wedding. She loves Bon Jovi, and I think he prefers Rascal Flatts. And none of us can sing a lick.
Meredith’s quote in emails: “Children are great imitators. So give them something great to imitate!”

Maegan and Jeffery – Engagement Session

I met with Maegan and Jeff over in Raleigh a couple of weeks ago to shoot their engagement session. We started on the campus on North Carolina State University and then headed downtown for a different backdrop. It was a beautiful Fall day and the weather was perfect for photography. I’m so looking forward to their wedding next year. They are so sweet and fun to photograph. Here are a few of my favorite images from the day:

Rebekah loves Matt

Rebekah and Matt were married on July 11 at Balfour Baptist Church in Asheboro NC and held their reception at Zimmerman Vineyards in Trinity NC. It was a wonderful ceremony and the reception was beyond beautiful. Both Bekah and Matt are members of singing groups at UNCG and these groups provided entertainment throughout the day. A little rain was followed up by a rainbow so nothing dampened the celebration.

Dalelah loves Richard

From the first time I meet Dalelah and Richard, I knew I was going to love them and adore photographing their wedding. They were married at Ebenezer Baptist Church followed by the reception at the Proximity. I was lucky enough to have Judy Auger assisting me all day.
The ceremony was full of emotion with tears of joy and sweet glances between Dalelah and Richard.
The Proximity hotel did a bang up job all evening long and everything went without a hitch.

I love snapping shots when the couple is posing for somebody else. Look at those eyes.

We were lucky and ran outside on the balcony while the sky was glowing.

Gennie and Tedder Dec. 19, 2008

2008 has been a wonderful year for me. I’ve been blessed to have been invited to photograph so many weddings of such amazing couples. Gennie and Tedder (aka Matthew), exchanged vows Friday Dec. 19th at the First Baptist Church Chapel in Greensboro followed by the reception at the O’Henry Hotel. Joining them in their celebration of love was an intimate group of family and friends.

Fun, fun, fun, Gennie and Tedder had a sense of playfulness which you will see in their images. Have a great time in Italy you two!
