One of my favorite winter haunts when Greensboro becomes too much like a “brownsboro” is the North Carolina zoo in Asheboro. It’s usually quiet and there are plenty of times where I’ve sat in front of an exhibit for over 15 minutes and only seen one other person walk by.
The day this photo was take, it was actually 70 degrees. This cougar has been with the zoo since birth. He’s staring at his handler and totally ignoring me.
I processed the original image in photoshop giving it a duotone finish. If you’d like more information about my process drop me a note and I’d be more than happy to share with you.

Kim and Jim E-Session
I meet Kim and Jim yesterday downtown Greensboro. We had so much fun walking around town, getting to know each other and getting some great shots. I love doing engagement sessions. They are a great way to get to know each other in a relaxed environment. I generally like to take a few “posed” shots for use as an announcement but the rest of the time is all about having FUN. Hey Jim, hope you’re feeling better, you were such a trooper. Enjoy your free trip to Cancun. Can’t wait to shoot your bridal photos Kim.
